EXCERPT
She watched him glance around the living room before his eyes settled on hers again. Her panties dampened. She backed up against the door, her palms flat against the cold metal, and he stalked her, trapping her in place with his arms on either side of her head. Her heartbeat sped up as his eyes flashed yellow for one short moment, and she knew his wolf was close to the surface.
"Leah, I'm going to kiss you. After that, I'm going to lick your pussy until you come, and then I'll flip you over and take you like my wolf demands."
She whimpered at his words, her panties now thoroughly soaked. "'Kay," was all she managed to say before his lips descended on hers, hard and unyielding. She opened for his probing tongue and a shock coursed through her body, curling her toes, as she tasted him. He tasted of peppermint and coffee, but underneath that, home.
Review:
Shifted for Love #1(August, 2014) This was a great read. The author did a great job of suckling me in. I have always been a fan of shifters and this author just reinforced my love for them with this story. I was not ready to let the characters go and very greatful for ore books in the series.
Healing A Shifter #2 (October, 2014)
I enjoyed this book even more then the first. Griffin came off as a bad guy in the first book but this one showed his side of things and even though he is not prince charming everything about him isn't black and white. In the end I was shocked by a few surprises that came out in this boom and looking forward to the next in the series.
Twice Fated Shifter #2.5 (contained within Mystical New Love Box Set)
It was great to see some of my favorite characters again. However I didn't like the pace and the way that Zack and Dixie worked things out. I was not surprised that Alexander had something to do with Dixie disappearing again. I didn't enjoy this one as much but still excited to read the next book in the series.
Shifter Under Cover #3 (February, 2015)
I enjoyed seeing glimpses into my favorite characters in this book as well. I really liked what I knew of Forrest in the other books and he didn't disappoint in this story surrounding him. For a shifter he is very patient and knows what he wants but can control himself too. I was very happy that his "mate" was someone he has wanted for awhile. I was very excited when a secret that had been mentioned in other books came out and we get to know more about the how and why of them. I could not put this book down and as soon as I finished was ready for book #4.
Star Crossed Shifters #4 (June, 2015)
This book is basically two stories in one. From little hints in other books I knew how Nick felt and was waiting to see if he would get his story. The evil Alexander is back again and kidnaps someone for the third time. Is it said to say I just wanted him to go away from the beginning? Brody has wanted to keep his bed partners to only humans but he is shocked when he gets more then he bargained for on his "blind date". I was really sad to get to the end and hoping for many more stories in the Pepper Valley Shifters Series.......
