Review: This was a great book. I loved how tough Maggie was. I was so sad for her when her father got hurt. The promise he made Garret give him and the fact that Garret didn't want to follow though but did rang true of the old west days when a man was good and true to his word. Maggie and Garret don't see eye to eye often. He is scared of caring for someone who will just leave him. Maggie becomes great friends with Lenny, a native American woman who can do everything a man can do. Lenny helps Maggie toughen up and teachers her the ways of the west. During the battle for the ranch people get kidnapped and shot and killed. A great many secrets are revealed along the way and finally Garret lets Maggie in to his heart. I would recommend this book to anyone but especially those who love a good romantic western.Purchase Links
