BIO

Meira Hayle is the daughter of Miriam Hayle, and Haralthazar, Demon Lord of the Seventh Plane, and sister to Sydlynn (Syd) Hayle. The eight-year-old carries her father’s distinctive coloring--red-tinted skin and amber eyes--with cute little horns that peek out of her curly black hair. Though she will never be the next coven leader, Meira is far more in love with being a witch and a half demon than her troubled sister, Syd. In fact, if it weren’t for her outward appearance, it’s quite likely Miriam would have raised her younger daughter to take over the Hayle coven, considering Syd’s refusal to use magic. But though the coven accepts Meira as a member, they would never do so as their leader. None of this troubles the youngest Hayle member. She is completely comfortable as she is, even when she is forced to disguise her true nature to normals. Happy, bubbly and kind to her older sister even when Syd isn’t always kind back, Meira is only beginning to develop her sense of place and person in the family, perfectly content at this point in her life to remain second forever.
