  Review: This was a great book. I loved how tough Maggie was. I was so sad for her when her father got hurt. The promise he made Garret give him and the fact that Garret didn't want to follow though but did rang true of the old west days when a man was good and true to his word. Maggie and Garret don't see eye to eye often. He is scared of caring for someone who will just leave him. Maggie becomes great friends with Lenny, a native American woman who can do everything a man can do. Lenny helps Maggie toughen up and teachers her the ways of the west. During the battle for the ranch people get kidnapped and shot and killed. A great many secrets are revealed along the way and finally Garret lets Maggie in to his heart. I would recommend this book to anyone but especially those who love a good romantic western.

Later that night Knox takes me to bed. He helps me rid myself of clothes and I do the same to him. We climb into his bed and lie facing each other. Knox pulls me closer to him and puts my arms around his neck. I cradle him to my chest, content in this moment.

“I’m falling hard, Jas.” Knox says with so much emotion in his voice it makes me want to be a girly girl and cry.

My heartbeat picks up. I run my hand through his hair, comforting him. “Me too.”

“I’m still trying to find my way out of this nightmare I’ve been living in.” Knox sighs deeply.

“I’m still trying to find my way in life.” I place a finger under Knox’s chin and tilt his head up. What I see in his eyes is like a mirror of my own. “We’re both lost. We’re trying to find our way and we’re working on finding us.”

Knox’s breath hitches before he crashes his mouth to mine. “We’re finding us.”

I bite down on my bottom lip and Knox reaches up and releases it with his thumb before he kisses it. Something in this moment changes between us. We both admitted that we are finding us, finding our way to be with each other. This road is going to be bumpy as hell but it will be worth all the damage once we get to the other side. I hope.

Review: This was a very engaging read. I enjoyed the banter and relationships between the characters. I was creepy weird that the ex-girlfriend plays a role in both Knox and Jas lives. The chemistry between Knox and Jas is through the roof. The story line is very real and I fell in love with them right away. The other characters sucked me in too. I want to read more about them and their story too. Jeremy was my favorite one of the guys because you have a idea about him and then that gets shifted to something better. The secrets that are exposed are heart breaking  and devastating. Can Jas trust Knox again?
The story ends rather abruptly for me. The author skips ahead 2 years and then does a few flashbacks but I wanted MORE!!!
